Aeron or Leap V2? Start with the seat.
Aeron uses a fixed-size mesh seat. Leap V2 offers an upholstered seat with adjustable depth. That is a more useful starting point than choosing a universal winner.
Two different ways to find your fit.
| What to check | Aeron Remastered | Leap V2 |
|---|---|---|
| Seat | Suspension mesh | Upholstered seat |
| Sizing | Choose A, B or C; depth follows size | Adjustable seat depth |
| Back support | Support options vary by order | LiveBack design; check lumbar and controls |
| Buying used | Confirm Classic vs Remastered, size and installed options | Confirm V2, upholstery condition and arm configuration |
Which one belongs on your shortlist?
Start with Aeron if…
You prefer a mesh seat and want to compare fixed sizes. Check the seat edge, the selected size and how the support option feels before committing. A Remastered specification should not be used to describe a Classic listing.
Start with Leap V2 if…
You prefer upholstery and want to adjust the seat depth. Try its back and recline controls, and check whether the arm configuration suits your desk. A used chair still needs an individual condition check.
Compare the chair you can actually buy.
Generation, options, wear and seller terms can matter as much as the model. Our comparison starts with Aeron Remastered and Leap V2; replace either model in the tool to explore alternatives.
